New, used and new-old-stock parts for classic Mercedes-Benz.

Every listing is checked by a person before it goes live. Fitment comes from the part number, so you see exactly which cars a part came from.

How it works

Buying

  1. Search by part number, name or car. Add your car to the garage and we mark what fits it.
  2. Message the seller through Sternmarkt. Ask about condition, shipping, anything. Contact details are never shown.
  3. Agree the sale between you. Payment and shipping are arranged directly with the seller. We take nothing from it.

Selling

  1. List the part with its number and photos. Don't know the number? Tick the box and we'll identify it for you.
  2. A person checks it, then it goes live with fitment filled in from the catalogue, so buyers with the right car find it.
  3. Buyers message you; you sell on your terms. Open wanted requests that match your part are shown to you too.

Why Sternmarkt

Questions

The short answers. More on the pricing and help pages.

Is it only used parts?

No. Sellers list new, used, new-old-stock, remanufactured and refurbished parts, and each listing says which. Collectibles — brochures, books, models, badges — have their own section.

What does it cost?

Private sellers list free, always — with no limit on live listings until 30 Nov 2026 (then up to 10), each for 90 days, and buyers pay nothing. Business sellers choose a plan — Starter, Pro or Unlimited, from $39 a month — and Sternmarkt takes nothing from the sale.

How do I pay for a part?

You agree it with the seller. Sternmarkt carries the messages so neither side has to share contact details up front, and the seller tells you how they take payment and ship.

How do you know a part fits my car?

Fitment lives on the part number, taken from the factory catalogue: model codes, chassis and engine ranges, markets. Add your car to the garage — model code, or the chassis number for a definite answer — and listings are marked "Fits your …".

I don't know the part number.

Buying: search by name or car, or post a wanted request with photos. Selling: tick "No part number", describe it and add photos; we identify it before the listing goes live.

Why isn't my listing live yet?

A person checks every listing and request first — the number, the photos, the condition. Most are live within a day, and you're emailed either way.

Where are the sellers?

Wherever classic Mercedes are. Each listing shows where it ships from and the shipping options the seller offers; prices show in your currency as an approximate guide.

Got a part, or need one?

Listing takes a few minutes. A wanted request takes one.
